Dogwood in the Spring

Dogwood blossoms are probably my favorite spring flower, because of the beautiful artistic design of the petals. This shot is a stack merge of several shots taken with my 100mm macro lens. Happy Spring!!

April 13, 2013 Cathedral Mountain - Sedona, Arizona

Such a beautiful place...I took this photo of Oak Creek with the Cathedral Mountain in the distance a couple weeks ago. I'm sure the buds on the trees are all open by now. The water level was low, so at times all of this rock is under water.

This is a photo I took through the kitchen window in Arizona. He is a small bobcat who just killed a gopher snake. Unfortunately, the gopher snakes are good snakes and eat rodents, etc.
